The DVD is 60min. long and includes also some nice impressions from the public Screening at the local Community Theater in August 2022.
Saltburn’s History dates back to ancient times when the Romans roamed in England. Over the years it has become one of the most popular holiday destinations in the North East of England. Many famous people have played gigs, created art or just relaxed in Saltburn.
Today Saltburn by the sea attracts visitors of over 1.5 Million a year. Especially the sandy beaches, local food and places to stay make it so attractive.

From the small hamlet it began with, dating back to the 15th Century. To the wonderful Victorian town it grew into.
Saltburn by the Sea has a vast and rich history for such a young town.
It’s had links to smugglers and beach racing. Bombing raids and royal visits. One of the first telephone calls to take place in England, if not THE first, and so much more.
